    Hello Ducatisti,

A quick email to highlight a few important topics such as our partnership with Ducati Redmond, our social media presence/communication and the 2022 membership contribution.

For the new folks amongst us, we are a group of passionate Ducati owners and riders in the Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellevue area of Washington State and the Pacific Northwest. Our club, DucNW, has been the Ducati Official Club in the Greater Seattle/Tacoma metropolitan area for many years. We have an active membership group who enjoy group events and rides, touring, and track days.

As many of you know, DucNW (ex Desmo Northwest) has always had a close relationship with the Eastside Ducati dealership, first Ducati Bellevue, later Ducati Redmond. The new owners of Ducati Redmond opened the door for a closer collaboration between the Club and the dealership. In that respect we’re thrilled to share the points we agreed upon:

    ● When a member buys a new bike at Ducati Redmond, the dealership will pay the DucNW membership fee for the first year.

    ● The dealership will continue to pay the membership fees for the following year(s) if the member has his bike serviced at the shop.

    ● Ducati Redmond will give a 10% discount on apparel and accessories on DucNW fee-paying members when presenting their challenge coin.

    ● Ducati Redmond will give priority on new products by alerting/offering club members first access/priority holding private sales events.

    ● In case of “clearance sales”, Ducati Redmond will offer it to club members first before selling to the public (private sales event).

Regarding the 2022 DucNW membership fee, we decided to set it at $60. The membership fee includes the 2022 DucNW Challenge Coin and gives the member access to club organized rides and events, the Ducati Redmond store discount on apparel and accessories, access to private events organized by DucNW and its current and future partners. It also covers the operating expenses to keep the club going (e.g. website, registration fees, prepaid expenses like challenge coins etc). We are fully transparent regarding our treasury and members can have insight upon request.

As mentioned earlier in our social media channels, the Club has a new Facebook group , restricted to members only. We have over 1100 members in the original Facebook Group, and a large portion of them have no connection to Ducati or motorcycling in general. It also gets very challenging to moderate such an extensive group. We want to focus on like-minded Pacific Northwest Ducati enthusiasts, who share the passion of the brand. For the people who don’t use Facebook, all our events are shared on Meetup.com and our website remains unchanged (https://ducnw.com).

We hope to see you all at one of our future rides or events!

    Forza Ducati!
